ASUU HAS NOT DECLARED STRIKE DATE - OFFICIAL

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, popularly known as ASUU said that they are yet to declare an industrial action.

The clarification comes on the heels of a report  that they would commence a one-week warning strike on October 2, 2016.The publication allegedly credited the report to the University of Abuja-ASUU Chapter Chairman, Dr. Ben Ugheoke.

ASUU Rants At FG for Scrapping Post UTME

Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU condemns scrapping of the post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post UTME).


The ASUU President, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi, told newsmen in Abuja, that the cancellation “portends serious danger for the quality of education in this country”.
