The dissolution of the governing council headed Prof. Ndoma Egba was said to have been announced on the Nigerian Television Authority late night Thursday.
The Public Relations Officer of the OAU, Mr. Biodun Olanrewaju, also
confirmed the dissolution in Osogbo on Friday.
The Chairman of the Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Universities (SSANU) at the university, Ademola Oketunde said the decision of the Federal Government was an indication that the Buhari Administration was totally committed to the fight against corruption.
